I ordered this on thursday and it was delivered on Saturday!! The tv is hooked up and looks amazing - 4 stars because i have only had it up and running for about an hour...
keeping my fingers crossed that we have no problems.....ive been looking for an lcd for my basement and i couldnt pass up the price for a 55"!!

I wish I would have been told that there was a discolored spot on the bottom left. I guess this is why you don't buy refurbished items. :(

It might be a good TV, but we will never know. TV stopped working in 1.5 days, it started to flicker the day of arrival and the screen turned just blue next day! Please be aware - the item might be out of those 90 days warranty that is provided for refurbished item! Our was! After waiting for 4 days for response from Vizio, we found out from them (they called) that our request for a repair or swap was denied since the item is our of warranty! thank goodness Amazon has a great customer service and we are returning this item.
I do have to give 5 stars to Amazon customer service and the shipping company (Pilot) they use. The item was delivered on time, unpacked , set on my stand and the guys waited for me to check that TV was turning on.
Also, they were very accommodating in scheduling the pick up of the return. Waiting for them tomorrow :)

I had the exact same problems at Vadim.
TV looks beautiful, had surprising speaker sound, very high-quality image. However, after approximately 1.5 days, the TV started turning blue around all the dark areas. After just a few days, the screen is almost entirely blue. I never called Vizio but Amazon agreed to return the TV for a full refund. Also, the company Pilot who delivered it was amazing.
